Hornbeams in autumn, Beechwood Avenue

Ten years ago today I created the 298th post for Greenford 365. To mark the blog’s anniversary I will attempt to post a photo every day throughout 2022.

These hornbeams have begun to succumb to the colder weather, their leaves have begun to turn and fall, helped by the heavy rain of recent days. We have seen them bare in winter and in their full summer glory.

I think the hornbeams of Beechwood Avenue are some of the most beautiful trees in Greenford.
