Ten years ago today I created the 274th post for Greenford 365. To mark the blog’s anniversary I will attempt to post a photo every day throughout 2022.

Ten years ago this space was taken up by a block of flats that no longer provided an adequate standard of accomodation for social housing tenants. The building’s footprint, along with that of some of the buildings around it, has been redistributed to create Firecrest Court and Goshawk Court, as well as a row of houses, against the boundary created by the Piccadilly Line that runs past them. A lot of new developments have gone up in Greenford in recent years but few have been as attractive as this one, with its decorative details and landscaping.
