Urine, Greenford Road

Ten years ago today I created the 209th post for Greenford 365. To mark the blog’s anniversary I will attempt to post a photo every day throughout 2022.

The label says that it’s a bottle of sparkling spring water but the colour gives away the fact that it is full of urine. Anyone who drives commercial vehicles for a living may be reduced to doing this because there are so few accessible public toilets available to those who deliver goods and services. It can be difficult for an HGV or a delivery van driver to find somewhere they can disappear behind trees or bushes. London’s bus drivers are faced with a similar problem. Poor working conditions have driven people away from this kind of work and increases in pay have not drawn them back.
