Toy motorcycle, Shelley Avenue

Ten years ago today I created the 162nd post for Greenford 365. To mark the blog’s anniversary I will attempt to post a photo every day throughout 2022.

Ten years on fly tipping is still a serious problem in Greenford. I came across this toy motorcycle amongst bags of clothes and garden waste, all of which could have been reused or composted. I’ve seen this often enough to know that it was probably left here by someone clearing out a property in order to let it out who couldn’t be bothered to deal with it properly. Although this toy is sunbleached and battered there is probably a child out there who would have been pleased to have it once it was cleaned up.
