Damaged bollard and sign post, Middleton Avenue

Ten years ago today I created the 135th post for Greenford 365. To mark the blog’s anniversary I will attempt to post a photo every day throughout 2022.

It is probable that these items of street furniture were damaged when an articulated lorry took a wrong turn and had to reverse. This is a very common occurence, I’ve seen lamp posts pushed to ground level and some bollards are repositioned repeatedly until the council decides it will cost too much to continue doing so. A reliance on satnavs is probably to blame.
