Adolf Putin, Oldfield Lane North

Ten years ago today I created the 56th post for Greenford 365. To mark the blog’s anniversary I will attempt to post a photo every day throughout 2022.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has shocked and appalled most of us in the UK. Someone in Greenford has felt compelled to express their fears by caricaturing Vladimir Putin as “Adolf Putin”, set on starting World War 3, and placing it on the side of a public telephone box. As we watch events unfold on television and online many are declaring on social media platforms that they “Stand With Ukraine”.
