Fallen tree, Greenford Road

Ten years ago today I created the 51st post for Greenford 365. To mark the blog’s anniversary I will attempt to post a photo every day throughout 2022.

We have been warned that trees weakened by Storms Dudley and Eunice may be brought down by Storm Franklin. This street tree fell neatly into the space between the pavement and a house. Images like this may influence the future selection of species, shorter trees that are less likely to damage their surroundings if they are brought down by the wind.
