This is the oldest part of the Edward Betham Church of England Primary School, as it is now known. It came into use in 1878 and the original school became the residence of the head teacher. Since then the building has been extended (the sections in the foreground and to the left are later additions), some of it paid for by the interest from Edward Betham’s trust, which continues to benefit the children of Greenford. You can find out more about it on the Greenford Magna website here.
