Sledding, Horsenden Hill

Hill + snow = wheeeeeeeeeee! Children (and adults with a fair bit of the kid still left in them) usually find it impossible to resist a hill when it snows. I could hear the squeals of excitement long before I could see what was happening. After days of bitterly cold but very dry weather it finally began to snow overnight. The national news has been full of the impact on transport but I could predict what snow would mean to many local people – old fashioned fun.
